The strategic axes of this association are condensed and articulated as follows:
(I) the development of human capital of the association,
(Ii) mobilization of people in urban centers to become key actors responsible for environmental protection;
(Iii) the creation of an organized system of waste collection and management,
(Iv) the value of waste commissioning and energy recovery;
(V) the recycling of plastics.
(Vi) Installation of plants (trees) Ornamental on both sides of the roadedit me. It's easy.

​Recent and ongoing activities
ATUA has initiated a new othopedric center in Burundi Bujumbura early 2017
Creating jobs for women is one of ATUA objectives. Recently in the town of Bujumbura Burundi a Chicken breeding project was initiated. This project is prospering very well.
ATUA has already carried out studies to identify waste disposal sites of any kind, all studies on the valuation process of the waste and the environmental reporting of the action area.

To this end, a mapping has already been developed. The purpose of this is to identify areas of existence and / or producing a lot of waste as well as the location of litter.
A project has been developed and implemented since July 2015, entitled:
"Awareness Campaign: Kinama, clean town."

Distribution of food to students from muslim community. Help from Saudi Aribia through one of our partners "Association for Education and Development"
Food Assistance to Muslim students by A.TU.A women during the Ramadan period and final examination year 2015- 2016. Project supported by the Arabie- Saoudith through its education program and development .
Objective: Avoid psychological imbalance.
